Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015

We came, we saw, we conquered

It has been 10 years since the Abnormally Funny People Show made its debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2005. In 2015 we decided to return to celebrate!

The new show was unique: packed with top notch stand-up comedy, variety and improvisation. Each night featured a line-up of talented, award winning, disabled comedians with a token non-disabled one (you've got to give them a chance). The comedians take great delight in banter about one another and not holding back about themselves.

Thank you to everyone who came and saw our show and supported Abnormally Funny People at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015!

Reviews

★★★★ The Scotsman's Kate Copstick

"[Steve] Day is ferociously funny."

"A uniquely hilarious experience."

"The entire room rocks with laughter."

"[Tanyalee Davis] is a funny, filthy comedy wendypowerhouse."

★★★★ Broadway Baby

'It’s clear the producers know how to pick good acts.'

★★★★ Three Weeks

‘All of the performers have wit, charm and an irreverent attitude toward their disabilities.’

‘This is an excellent night of entertainment, and should be enjoyed by people of all abilities.’

Bruce Dessau

‘A new improvised section in which all the acts had to tell a story together using one word one-by-one was hampered by the fact that Lost Voice Guy took so long to type in his word. Then again it was very amusing to wait ages hanging on his every keystroke just for him to say “that”.’

‘There is a risk that PC critics will make patronising allowances in shows like this, but all the acts were good and [Tanyalee] Davis was exceptional. Head and shoulders above the others.'
